Saving info

So, I'm making an application that runs different controls, each of them for something different for SharePoint (add solutions, add templates, create subsites, add users, etc.). They open these controls by using buttons on the side on the main form. Information is entered into list boxes into these controls so that a user can accomplish tasks en masse. The problem is, if there are items in the list, and then a different control is opened, all items on the previous controls' list are gone. Is there any way to keep these items in the list box until the user closes the application? Would there be a way to keep them even across multiple uses of the application?
